Our beads are made using Moretti, Vetrofond and Lauscha glass . Each bead is carefully hand crafted by Linda and Lyric Morgan-O'Connor in our glass studio in Millbury, Massachusetts. As each bead is completed it is immediately placed into an electronically controlled kiln, which carefully maintains the temperature and then slowly lowers the temperature overnight to anneal the bead. This process prevents thermal shock and bead instability. We reject any bead that does not have smooth, dimpled ends; or that is not evenly shaped (except in cases where we intentionally are striving for a chunky look); or that does not have perfect clarity due to glass "scum" or foreign particles.
